Construction of a Plinth Wall

The base wall is an important part of the greenhouse and its construction must be carried out in accordance with the applicable ČSN standards. Its execution must be precise and of high quality, and its structure may vary depending on the subsoil on which the greenhouse will be built (it is always advisable to consult and agree with the builder on the design of the base wall). The structure cannot be shimmed to compensate for unevenness, as the entire surface of the main profile must rest on the base wall. The tolerance is 5 mm.

Aluminium greenhouses have a very long service life, which is why it is important to choose materials for the base wall that match this durability. Suitable materials for building the base wall include brick, reinforced concrete with cladding, or hard stone.

Exact dimensions of the base wall are provided upon signing the contract and ordering the greenhouse, at which time the requirements for the material and construction of the base wall are discussed and any minor details are specified.

Once the base wall has been built and has fully cured (the curing time should be consulted with the builder according to the material used), the greenhouse can be installed.
